IMAGE DATE1931

Corn Exchange Bank and Trust Company branch, 1931.

This branch was completed in February 1931, replacing a branch in an older building at the northwest corner of Grand and Norfolk Streets. The Corn Exchange Bank, founded in 1853, merged with the Chemical Bank in 1954 and, through a series of further mergers, has since been folded into the holdings of JPMorgan Chase.
